I accept a 125G tank, 6 feet long, I take a Xanthous and Bluish and they are fine. 75G I would stick with 1 tang personally.

I personally wouldn't do it. A healthy P. hepatus should outgrow a 75 in near a year (( give or take, depending on the starting size )).

It isn't ever piece of cake to sell a fish that has outgrown your tank, communicable a hepatus in a tank will rock work will exist a challenge, plus finding a proper domicile for it. IME/O, it is best to stock for the tank that you currently accept -- and can firm the fish for their lifespan.

A 75 gallon is way to small-scale for a blue tang, it'south non even half the proper size. You will terminate up having problems later, you tin discover several accounts on here where people did it anyway and so inquire why are my fish dieing, having an ich outbreak, or my bluish tang looks terrible virtually six months later.

your Yellow Tang volition not like the new Blue unless you re-rocks or take the Yellow out and put both in together

should be fine if they are small. these fish exercise not grow big in over nighttime.
in one-ii year later they grow out, you tin can trade or sell it and get a smaller one again.
I was able to keep both in a 35g for over a year without any problem

I know the tang police volition detest me. I raised a blue tang and a yellow tang in 25 gallons for most iii years. I bought them extremely small though. Then I upgrade and they live together in a 75 gallons. Healthy stiff fishes they don't like algae. Simply body of water nutrition pellets with garlic.

As long as your responsible and upgrade the tank before the fish outgrows it and then it will exist fine.Blueish tangs grow pretty irksome. If yous bought a 2-iii inch blue tang you would be able to keep it in a 75 gallon for quite a while.

As long as your responsible and upgrade the tank before the fish outgrows it then information technology will be fine.Blueish tangs grow pretty slow.If you bought a two-3 inch bluish tang you would be able to proceed it in a 75 gallon for quite a while.

Blue tangs exercise not grow wearisome, I got a microscopic xanthous belly blue tang the size of a dime concluding summer and it is now my largest fish. In less than a year it is longer and thicker than my 4 year sometime yellow tang and three year sometime pulverization blue tang. It is probably five to half-dozen inches long and was no more than a half inch a little over a yr ago.

My experince with Tangs is if you add them together they seem to practise fine. If you lot alredy have i they tin be very agressive towards new additions causing stress. Also i take had a blueish Tang for 11 years in a 100 and he has never gotten also big for tank. Sometimes a wonder if fish abound to the size of tank.

It depends on the personality of your yellowish tang.
Some can be really territorial.

Adjacent event is an ethical ane.
I personally do not buy fish unless I accept the ways to keep it for life.
If did not plan on having at least a 6 foot tank I would non get ane, but that is just me.
